Alpha Control Systems specializes in industrial automation based out of Russellville, Arkansas. It was founded in 2007 by Duane Snider. Since Alpha’s inception, he has been helping companies implement automation from Oregon to Pennsylvania, Wisconsin to Mexico, and hundreds of companies in between. Alpha offers control solutions, system design, electrical drawings, programming, PLC, DCS, VB, HMI, and databases to their customers.
Duane Snider
Founder & Chief Engineer. With a career spanning back to 1979, Duane is a true veteran of the automation industry. From his early days as an award-winning engineering graduate at Arkansas Tech to serving as Chief Electrical Engineer for major conveyor and automation firms, Duane has seen the industry evolve from basic relay logic to complex global networks.
Before founding Alpha Control Systems in 2007, Duane spent 22 years mastering the intricacies of explosive mixers, brick kilns, and large-scale conveyor systems. Today, he applies that deep "institutional knowledge" to every project, ensuring that every PLC program and electrical drawing meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Duane is an expert in ladder logic and all major brands of industrial hardware, bringing a seasoned perspective that only four decades in the field can provide.
